March 2014 - Open House

To celebrate the release of brand new house and land packages, on Friday 27th and Saturday 28th of June, Blue Ridge Estate hosted exclusive Open Homes Days. Locals of Blackwater were able to come and see for themselves a selection of newly completed homes.


Meet & Mingle

Meet and Mingle March 2014

Blue Ridge residents met for an evening of dinner and drinks, as a way to meet other neighbours and community members from Blackwater. It was a fantastic night of laughs and new home stories, over great food and company. Thanks for a great night Blue Ridge residents!

Blue Ridge Starlight Cinema

More than 400 Blackwater residents enjoyed a free outdoor screening of Wreck it Ralph at the All Abilities Park on Friday, March 21. There was plenty of fun to be had with face painting and a jumping castle for the kids as well as free slushies and popcorn. Thank you to Central Highlands Regional Council for providing delicious cupcakes in support of National Harmony Day.

Blue Ridge Blackwater Spring Carnival


On Friday 8th November, more than 350 Blackwater locals attended our Blue Ridge Blackwater Spring Carnival event to celebrate the unveiling of the public art pieces and new park fitness equipment. The event was held within the green space parklands adjacent to the Blue Ridge Estate. Visitors enjoyed a range of children’s activities including a jumping castle, clown, balloon art, merry-go-round, face painting, and art activities.

Blue Ridge Twilight Fair

Approximately 300 Blackwater residents attended the official opening of Blue Ridge Blackwater on Friday 22nd February.

Residents were treated to a gourmet barbeque and sweet treats, while local kids rubbed shoulders with rugby league player Jharal Yow Yeh. Locals took the opportunity to wander around the new development and also view a variety of house and land and land packages available at Blue Ridge.

Blackwater PCYC Art Workshop

25 young people participated in an art workshop at Blackwater PCYC on February 8th.

Duarina artist, Erin Dunne, facilitated a mixed media workshop combining experimental approaches to drawing and painting.

Meet Your Street Community Fun Night

Blue Ridge held an Art Activity at the Meet Your Street Community Fun Night, Saturday 8th December, at The Village on Blain.

Local children had the opportunity to be part of the Blue Ridge public art project with more 40 artworks created on the day.
