Friday 22nd February 2013 - Blue Ridge Twilight Fair

Approximately 300 Blackwater residents attended the official opening of Blue Ridge Blackwater on Friday 22nd February.

Residents were treated to a gourmet barbeque and sweet treats, while local kids rubbed shoulders with rugby league player Jharal Yow Yeh. Locals took the opportunity to wander around the new development and also view a variety of house and land and land packages available at Blue Ridge.

Friday 8th February 2013 - Blackwater PCYC Art Workshop

25 young people participated in an art workshop at Blackwater PCYC on February 8th.

Duarina artist, Erin Dunne, facilitated a mixed media workshop combining experimental approaches to drawing and painting. 

Thank you to Josh Clutterbuck from Central Highlands Regional Council and Blackwater PCYC for their asistance in organising the event.

Saturday 8th December 2012 - Meet Your Street Community Fun Night

Blue Ridge held an Art Activity at the Meet Your Street Community Fun Night, Saturday 8th December, at The Village on Blain.

Local children had the opportunity to be part of the Blue Ridge public art project with more 40 artworks created on the day.

30 May 2012 - Official Sod Turning at Blue Ridge

Blackwater celebrates the unveiling of its new residential development Blue Ridge at a sod-turning event, marking the commencement of construction of Stage 1.

Central Highlands Regional Council Mayor Peter Maguire turned the first sod at Blue Ridge, to signal the start of work at Bauman Way, Blackwater.

Stage 1 will deliver nine lots, ranging in size from 350sqm – 700sqm, at prices ranging from $338,982 upward.

The ULDA has selected three builder partners; Vantage Holdings, Halley Homes and Infrabuild to build and sell house and land packages in Stage 1 at Blue Ridge.

Once completed, Blue Ridge will feature approximately 230 homes, on 165 lots, ranging in size from 250sqm to 640sqm.
